1. Disconnect all load and power in the line under test
2. Dial the switch to find the line position, connect the test wire to the tested cable or wire, and the green light will light up
when the line resistance is less than 10k ohm (indicates the short circuit of the tested circuit or wire)
3. After checking, disconnect the test wire and turn off the power
